Rebalancing Update (7/18)


Overall I am working towards stomping bugs and making the initial gameplay slightly more brain-on, the changes are as follows:

  • Auto-shopping for food has been changed to a new research project making fun of UberEats at the end of the current 'tech tree'
  • A new hunger additive has been added right after the Autofeeder
  • Research once again consumes S.E.C.S. and now costs Money to implement, however you are not forced to buy everything sequentially - I streamlined the process a little too well apparently, given how you could decimate the tree in record time
  • Drones have been nerfed, I do not entirely know what I want to do with them currently but a small supplemental resource gain seems decent at the time
  • You can talk to Leynda now (a little bit) - in a bid to highlight her brattishness more than only in the introduction there is now a dialogue tree, though it is unfinished.
  • Research has been streamlined again but this time on the UI-side, you are now told if something is available for purchase and the button to purchase it is all on the same page with no clicky links, additionally you can see how much money you have in the Research Tab as well
  • A few numbers have been changed here and there, nothing super detrimental or beneficial but the game may feel a little more sparse in terms of resources on the outset.
  • Injected a large amount of Colorful Reagent into the game, now things will POP a little more and look slightly nicer I think :)
